The consortium partner Thales Alenia Space was host for the BIOWYSE System Requirements Review meeting in Torino, Italy on July 13, 2016. It was a fruitful meeting where requirements were reviewed and design phase was kicked off. All consortium partners were present and had opportunity to see the facilities of Thales Alenia Space where large part of ISS was built. Guests also visited the Recyclab facility for Advanced Life support research. Two tons of water from Torino were already delivered to International Space Station, in two versions for Astronauts and Cosmonauts with different mineral content for each group.
